Pain is a Poor Yardstick to Measure Health
When the majority of people find out they have heart disease from their first symptom of a heart attack or the when an individual with cancer is not diagnosed until they are in stage 3 or stage 4, it’s time to rethink health as simply being the absence of any symptom.
The definition of health is NOT how you feel or how many symptoms you have or don’t have.
According to the Merck Manual of Medical Diagnosis the diseases below are all present in the body without any signs or symptoms noticeable to the victim:
Heart arrhythmia
Glomerulonephritis (Kidney disease)
Atherosclerosis (Plaque in arteries)
Hypertension (High blood pressure)
Osteoarthritis
